Job summary

MedRecruit Limited is seeking a locum medical practitioner for a public hospital in Queensland. Cover is required from 23 November 2026 to 22 January 2027, with shifts 08:30–17:00, Monday to Friday. No on-call, recall, or public holiday work will be required.

The role requires current AHPRA registration and the ability to provide high-quality clinical care across acute medical, surgical, rehabilitation, maternity, and other services as needed.

Please note that all rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading, where applicable.

Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.

This is a public hospital which provides the following services:

• Acute medical
• Surgical
• Rehabilitation
• Maternity
• Other specialty services for children and adults

The hospital has grown from a 48-bed hospital in 1990 to approximately 330 beds currently. As of 2018, the emergency department is the second busiest in the state of Queensland.
