Job summary

Wide Bay Mental Health & Specialised Services in Bundaberg invites applications for a senior psychologist to lead the Community Care Unit's clinical program. You will deliver high-level psychological services to adults with complex mental health needs within a recovery-oriented framework.

The role is the sole psychology position, offering a competitive remuneration package up to AUD 162,378 p.a. for full-time, with salary bands AUD 132,690–142,317 p.a.

• Provide high level of knowledge, skill and clinical competence in managing people with complex and serious mental health issues within a recovery-oriented framework.
• Deliver specialised psychological clinical services including assessment, intervention and rehabilitation programs as the sole psychology position within the Community Care Unit.
• Provide leadership, high level of consultation, advice and support to clinicians from various disciplines.

Location: Community Care Unit, Wide Bay Mental Health & Specialised Services, Bundaberg Hospital

Remuneration:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $162,378 p.a., comprising salary between $132,690 - $142,317 p.a. (f/t) or comprising salary between $66.92 - $71.77 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f., or Permanent Part Time Positions, hours negotiable) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).

• Provide high level of knowledge, skill and clinical competence in the area of managing people with complex and serious mental health issues and their families within a recovery-oriented framework, whilst ensuring the active participation of consumers, carers and families in all aspects of the mental health care they receive.
• Deliver specialised psychological clinical services, including assessment, intervention and rehabilitation programs as the sole psychology position within the Community Care Unit, Wide Bay Mental Health & Specialised Services, Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
