Job summary

Headway Psychology is seeking a psychologist to deliver individual assessments, formulation, and evidence-based treatment in a client-centred setting. The role is based on-site in Shenton Park, Perth, with flexible options for part-time or full-time work.

You will conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, deliver therapy, maintain records, and collaborate with health professionals. AHPRA registration or eligibility is required and ongoing professional development is supported.

Qualifications

• Registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA.
• Experience delivering evidence-based therapies (CBT, ACT, DBT, or similar).
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, case formulation, treatment planning, and risk management.
• Ability to build therapeutic rapport and maintain professional boundaries with diverse clients.
• Clear, timely clinical documentation and use of practice management systems.
• Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, with multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development, supervision, and ethical/legal practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans.
