Job summary

Thought Science Psychology Clinic in Chatswood, NSW, is seeking a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to join as an independent contractor. This role offers the opportunity to run your own practice with the backing of a supportive clinical team, while the clinic handles administration.

You will provide evidence-based assessments and treatments, develop personalised plans, and maintain Medicare-compliant records.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist.
• Your own ABN and professional indemnity insurance.
• Sound knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Warm, client-centred and collaborative approach with good outcomes.

Responsibilities

Thought Science Psychology Clinic is a warm, well-supported private practice on Sydney's North Shore, looking for a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to join as an independent contractor. This is an opportunity to run your own practice with the backing of a supportive clinical team, while the clinic handles everything behind the scenes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment to clients
• Develop individualised treatment plans and review progress over time
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and Medicare requirements
• Prepare correspondence to GPs and referrers as part of coordinated client care
• Practise in accordance with AHPRA and the Psychology Board of Australia's standards

About you

• Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist

• Per-session rates from $156 to $208, depending on session type and registration level
