Job summary

MedRecruit Limited is seeking a locum medical practitioner to cover an acute regional hospital in New South Wales. The assignment runs from 2 November to 29 January 2027 with a weekday shift from 1400 to 2200 and registrar weekend coverage 0900 to 1700, depending on experience, mainly in the Acute Inpatient Unit.

Travel and shared accommodation are provided. Rates include superannuation, tax, and casual loading where applicable; current AHPRA registration is required to practice.

Qualifications

• Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
• Locum shifts include weekday 1400–2200 and registrar weekend cover 0900–1700 depending on experience in Acute Inpatient Unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide temporary medical coverage in the Acute Inpatient Unit as rostered.
• Support emergency and inpatient services during the locum period.
