Job summary

MedRecruit Limited supports our client in NSW to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist for a permanent, full-time role at Lismore Base Hospital.

You will work across Acute Care Services and Mental Health Emergency Care, lead a multidisciplinary team, provide ED and inpatient consultations, and help drive service improvement while relocation support and visa sponsorship are provided.

Our client is advertising an opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to permanently join their team at a Public Hospital in NSW.

The ideal start date for this position is 2 March 2026.

About the Role

Lismore Base Hospital is seeking a dynamic and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to work across both Acute Care Services (ACS) and the Mental Health Emergency Care (MHEC) team. This dual role offers a unique opportunity to provide psychiatric care in both community and emergency settings, supporting patients in crisis and facilitating continuity of care.

You will:
