Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service invites applications for Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist or Senior Medical Officer (Psychiatrist - Intellectual and Developmental Disability) at Bundaberg Hospital. The role focuses on expert psychiatric care for individuals with intellectual disability or autism, largely in a Consultation Liaison capacity with inpatient and community teams.

Qualifications
- Medical qualification from a registered tertiary institution.
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) with current practising certificate.
- Fellowship of the Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) or progress towards fellowship.
Responsabilités
- Provide expert psychiatric care assessment and management for patients with intellectual disability or autism.
- Primarily a Consultation Liaison role to community and inpatient teams; may supervise a small cohort of direct patient care.
- Provide professional leadership in Mental Health within a multidisciplinary environment.
