Job summary

The Humanity Health Group is seeking a Provisional/Registered Psychologist to support older Australians in Sydney's Western Sydney region, across aged care and community settings.

You will provide psychological assessment, evidence-based interventions, and progress reporting, while working closely with families and multidisciplinary teams. Flexible arrangements and ongoing professional development are available.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as Registered or Provisional Psychologist.
• Experience with older adults, aged care or related settings.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Provisional/Registered Psychologist – Aged Care

Location: Western Sydney, NSW

At Humanity Health Group, we’re looking for a Provisional Psychologist or Registered Psychologist to join our team supporting older adults in Sydney.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support older adults experiencing dementia, anxiety, grief and loss and adjustment difficulties.

About the Role

You will:

• Provide psychological assessment, support and evidence-based interventions.
• Work collaboratively with families, carers and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Support clients across residential aged care and community settings.
• Complete clinical documentation, progress notes and reports.
• Manage your own caseload with ongoing clinical supervision and support.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is AHPRA registered as a Registered or Provisional Psychologist.
• Has experience working with older adults, aged care, disability, mental health, community care or a related setting.
• Has an understanding of dementia, behaviours of concern, anxiety, grief and loss.
• Has strong communication, clinical and report-writing skills.
• Can work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Holds a current Police Check and WWCC, or is willing to obtain them.
• Has full working rights in Australia and a driver's licence.
