Job summary

seek.com.au is a dynamic, fast-growing law firm in Melbourne seeking a Commercial Property Lawyer with 2–6+ years PQE to join our expanding team. You will advise on high‑quality commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, development, and advisory work.

You will work closely with an experienced partner, gain direct client exposure, and manage matters end-to-end with ongoing mentoring and support, in a collaborative and client‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practise in Victoria.
• 2–6+ years' post-admission experience in commercial property law.
• Strong experience in commercial leasing and/or property transactions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Commercially minded with a practical, solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Acting on commercial, industrial, and retail property transactions
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts of sale and vendor statements
• Advising landlords and tenants on commercial and retail leasing matters
• Assisting with property development transactions and structuring
• Conducting due diligence for property acquisitions and disposals
• Advising clients on planning, zoning, and other property-related issues
• Managing transactions from initial instruction through to settlement
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Collaborating with partners and colleagues across the firm
