Job summary

NSW Health’s Health Infrastructure division seeks an Assistant Project Director, Property Transactions (Divestment) to drive disposal-readiness for surplus NSW Health properties. You will oversee due diligence, coordinate specialist consultants, and translate findings into practical recommendations for timely divestment decisions.

Reporting to the Project Director, Property Transactions, you will collaborate across acquisitions and commercial advisory projects while managing multiple projects

Qualifications

• Significant experience in property transactions and divestment.
• Experience across divestment and acquisition processes.
• Ability to coordinate specialist consultants and interpret their advice.
• Strong communication to present property issues, risks and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead due diligence to support disposal readiness and governance.
• Coordinate investigations, risk assessments, and contractor reports.
• Develop site-specific disposal strategies and risk mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with HI team, NSW Health entities, councils and external advisers.
• Translate complex technical findings into practical, actionable briefs.
