Job summary

ESR Australia and New Zealand seeks a permanent Legal Counsel to support the Group General Counsel across capital transactions, development, leasing and commercial contracts. The role is based in Sydney with exposure to funds and work with internal stakeholders.

You will autonomously manage asset acquisitions and divestments, negotiate leases and building contracts, and provide clear commercial advice to the broader business while ensuring regulatory compliance and governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously run capital transactions for asset acquisitions or divestments.
• Assist development transactions including negotiating Agreements for Lease and building contracts.
• Support leasing and asset management for stabilised assets.
• Provide general commercial advice and contract review to the business.
