Job summary

Goodman is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support the finance team in delivering accurate property accounting and lease administration. The role includes working with Yardi, preparing reconciliations, posting journals and assisting with month-end processes across Partnerships.

The ideal candidate has a degree (or is in final year) and is CA/CPA qualified or on track, with strong Excel skills and 1–2 years of experience in an office environment.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification or in final year.
• CA/CPA qualified or on track
• Strong Excel skills and data accuracy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete lease setups, assignments, surrenders and vacations.
• Maintain building and customer details in Yardi monthly.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and receipting of payments.
• Assist with month-end property accounting and post journals.
• Review net property income and outgoings reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly rent roll and related reporting.
• Update cash flow forecast models and inter-company loan reconciliations.
• Assist with invoice coding and payments.
• Maintain Partnerships documentation and records.
• Support BAS lodgement and related tax duties.
