Talent International is currently recruiting a Project Support Officer to work for the NSW Government, based in Coniston. The position is a 3-month contract role with the possibility of extension. The role pays $50.88/ hour + Super.

Hours of Work: 7 hours p/d, 35 hours p/w

Description

Provides high-quality executive, project and administrative support to enable the efficient and effective operation of the Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver executive and secretarial support including calendar management, coordinating meetings, travel bookings, conferences, and seminars.
  • Review and track incoming correspondence (e.g., Briefing Notes, Ombudsman enquiries), ensuring appropriate action and escalation when required.
  • Support financial administration activities, assist with report compilation, and prepare documentation as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support by preparing letters, registers, reports, spreadsheets, and other correspondence.
  • Assist with business systems testing, data acquisition and analysis, and present data graphically for stakeholder reports.
  • Monitor administrative and project service performance, identify process improvements, make recommendations, and coordinate approved changes to enhance efficiency.

You will be organised, professional, and able to work with discretion and initiative. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience supporting senior leaders or project teams will be highly regarded.
