Job summary

Sodexo Australia is seeking a Program Supervisor to oversee the safe on-site delivery of small, capital and specialised construction projects across the Pilbara region. This field-based leadership role requires coordinating contractors, ensuring milestones are met safely, on time and to the required standard.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe on-site delivery of small, capital and specialised construction projects.
• Lead field-based teams of employees and contractors; ensure milestones met safely and on time.
• Manage planning, scheduling and work management processes; assess and scope work requests.
• Support pre-planning and weekly planning meetings; allocate resources to the work schedule.
• Review performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions; ensure escalation protocols.

Job description

Are you a safety-first supervisor who thrives on keeping high-volume construction programs on track in one of Australia’s most demanding regions?

Sodexo is looking for an experienced Program Supervisor to oversee the safe on-site delivery of small, capital and specialised construction projects across the Pilbara. You will be the field-based leader who keeps programs moving, contractors accountable and stakeholders informed, while making sure every milestone is met safely, on time and to the required standard.

These are permanent, full-time positions offered on a FIFO 8:6 roster, with flights ex-Perth.

Effectively supervise the employee relations and management of your work crew and contractors and ensure employees are trained and held accountable for their tasks

Ensure timely evaluation and scoping of work requests prior to approval for the work management planning process

Participate in the weekly pre-planning, planning and scheduling meetings to ensure alignment and commitment of resources to the work schedule

Ensure safe execution of maintenance work as per the signed of schedule

Deliver minor and capital works, development of scope, commercial and tendering

Manage the planning and execution of unplanned work and the re-scheduling of tasks

Review work execution performance with team members, identify gaps and take corrective action as necessary to improve performance

Manage and review events and ensure that escalation protocols are complied with

Provide input into the development of work strategies

Ensure end to end process compliance

Suitable candidates must have the following:

• Able to identify foreseeable issues & address them logically, while being safety conscious always;
• Maintains time, material records and submits reports as required
• Trade relevant qualification within an equivalent industry and organisational experience
• Working at Heights Licence (mandatory)
• White Card(mandatory)
• Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Training (desirable)
• Previous work experience within the mining sector will be highly regarded
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and a strong desire to foster a "team-oriented" approach to the achievement of tasks
