Job description
Overview
  • Location: ACT
  • Australian Citizens with NV1 Clearance
  • Length of Contract: 19 months
  • Role closes on December 24th 2025
Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and baseline internal master schedules in accordance with Defence standards and program governance.
  • Ensure integration of acquisition, sustainment, and transition activities into a coherent schedule framework.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to contractors to resolve discrepancies and improve schedule quality.
  • Analyse cost / schedule variances and provide actionable insights to project leadership.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all scheduling systems.
  • Provide expert advice on scheduling risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present schedule reports, dashboards, and performance briefs for governance forums.
  • All other tasks as directed.
Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in project scheduling within Defence acquisition programs.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

  • Communicate effectively with line managers and Division Head, including consultation with them and taking appropriate direction from them.
