Blue Star Pacific is a privately owned, client focused, electrical and communications contracting company operating across multiple states.
We have an established team in the Gold Coast Region, and we are currently focused on continuing to build the foundations of this core team with a view to providing long-term employment and career progression to the successful applicant/s.
We are seeking experienced, professional, motivated and skilled Project Managers / Project Supervisors to join our project team for projects located across the Gold Coast.
We currently have multiple high‑profile projects in and around this region which will require the successful candidate/s to plan and execute high quality installations with bespoke challenges, but in return, will provide satisfaction and achievement at the completion of the projects.
The right candidate/s will be provided with an attractive salary package which will be discussed at the time of the full‑time employment offer.
Key Objectives of the Position
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the project, plan the installation in conjunction with the project team and the client
- Cost effective utilisation of labour, materials and equipment resources through effective planning and control
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to enhance employee performance and productivity
- Achieve complete satisfaction of requirements and expectations at site level
- Assess project shortcomings, possible alternatives and potential opportunities
- Ensure maximum productivity and profitable return for the company through sound planning and utilisation of trade‑based skills
- Promote the company with a view to build future business relationships with the client
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with WHS&E legislative requirements and company quality procedures
- Sound ability both on the job and to utilise digital platforms in relation to company processes
- A professional attitude and high standard of communication to successfully manage both internal and external working relationships
- A commitment to integrated management system, policies and procedures as well as an ability to function as an active participator in company management matters
- Promote positivity amongst the workforce, and nurture an environment with high morale
Qualifications & Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role (preferred)
- General Construction Safety Induction (White Card)
- Electrical Licence
- EWP Licence (preferred)
- Sound knowledge of AS3000 and AS3012
