Blacktown City Council is seeking an experienced Project Manager Landscape and Public Space to oversee a portfolio of open space, recreation and urban design projects in Blacktown. You will review landscape plans, coordinate consultants and contractors, and prepare tender documents while managing procurement and budgets.

You will engage with residents, clubs and internal teams to inform design decisions, monitor risks, and ensure compliance with standards and Council requirements.

Formación

• Qualifications in project management, landscape architecture, urban design, sports management or a related field.
• Experience in open space planning and design.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to manage multiple projects at different stages.

Responsabilidades

• Review landscape plans, coordinate specialist consultants and contractors.
• Prepare tender and contract documents, manage procurement and monitor project budgets.
• Undertake site inspections, track progress and resolve design or delivery issues.
• Work with internal teams, sporting groups, stakeholders and residents to understand community needs and inform project designs.
• Manage consultation, provide advice on recreation and open space planning, monitor risks and ensure designs meet relevant standards and Council requirements.
