Job summary

Atturra, based in Sydney, is seeking an exceptional Project Manager to lead IT infrastructure projects end to end for the Managed Services Business Unit. You will manage multiple initiatives across NSW, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget while engaging stakeholders and vendors.

The role requires 7+ years in technology project management, strong communication, and the ability to drive user buy-in with a delivery-focused mindset.

Qualifications

  • Experience working for an IT integrator or Managed Services Provider.
  • Experience running IT Infrastructure projects.
  • Commercial experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, proactive, responsive and accountable.
  • Proven ability to build teams.
  • 7+ years of technology Project Management experience.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Direct and clear communication to the steering committee.
  • Understanding of revenue, profit, and financial dynamics of a consultancy business.
  • Ability to influence and build cross-team relationships.
  • Ability to work in complex organisational environments and remote teams.
  • Identify and address risks early and often.

Responsibilities

  • Project management and reporting using the defined methodology and tools of client and Atturra PMO.
  • Performs day-to-day management of the project within approved scope, quality, time and cost to deliver outcomes meeting user expectations.
  • Formal status reporting to the business partner, program manager and steering committee.
  • Weekly progress reporting to relevant Leads.
  • Collaborate with Business Partner team, project team, technology partners and PMO to align on objectives, deliverables and timelines.
  • Manage relationships with team members, customers, vendors and stakeholders and provide visibility, direction and leadership.
  • Outline products to be produced during workshops and ensure group members understand responsibilities.
  • Ensure quality and completeness of all project artefacts.
  • Proactively identify, log, monitor and manage project risks and issues.
  • Submit change requests to the Project Board with impact analyses.
  • Ensure outcomes meet customer expectations and obtain sign-off for all deliverables.

What you’ll be doing

We are seeking an exceptional Project Manager to lead and deliver IT Infrastructure projects end to end for our Managed Services Business Unit based in Sydney.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple infrastructure projects across existing and new client engagements throughout NSW. You will ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality standards, within scope, on time, and within budget, while effectively managing stakeholders, risks, resources, and project outcomes.

Responsibilities include:
  • Project management and reporting using the defined methodology and tools of client and Atturra PMO
  • Performs the day-to-day management of the project and has accountability for managing the project within the approved constraints of scope, quality, time and cost, to deliver outcomes that meet user expectations
  • Formal status reporting to the business partner, program manager and steering committee
  • Weekly progress reporting to relevant Leads
  • Work closely with the Business Partner team, the project team including the technology partners, key business stakeholders and the PMO to ensure clear alignment on project objectives, deliverables, timelines, accountabilities in delivering user centric outcomes
  • Manage relationship with team members, customers, vendors, and all stakeholders and provide the necessary visibility, direction and leadership to all parties
  • Responsible for outlining the products to be produced during workshops and ensure that members of the group are clear on responsibilities and accountabilities
  • Responsible for quality and completeness of all project artefacts
  • Proactively identify, log, monitor and manage project risks and issues
  • Submit change requests to the Project Board with impact analyses
  • Ensure outcomes meet customer expectations and achieve sign-off for the successful completion of all agreed deliverables.
