Job summary

Corti Construction, Inc. in Redmond, WA is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our mid-sized, woman-owned team.

You will manage Tenant Improvement and other specialty projects for premier clients in Seattle/ Puget Sound, coordinating with field personnel, architects, clients and subcontractors. We offer growth, profit sharing, and a collaborative environment where PMs contribute to project success, safety, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent combination of education & experience.
• 5+ years project management experience, preferably with a Commercial General Contractor.
• Broad knowledge of Design Build techniques; DBIA certification a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office and scheduling/PM software; AutoCAD/Bluebeam helpful.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project budgets are sound through estimating and cost control.
• Build industry relationships through pursuing, developing and delivering projects.
• Maintain relationships with field supervisors, clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Source and secure new business opportunities by establishing contacts and sustaining long-term relationships.
• Coordinate with project field personnel, architects, designers, clients, and subcontractors.
• Identify workplace safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Manage subcontractors, procure materials and equipment, monitor budgets and invoices.
• Act as information hub for project to office and field personnel.
• Lead, manage, train and mentor the team.

Duties will be varied, as we are still growing. They may include:

• Ensure the financial soundness of projects thru skill & talent at estimating and managing the project budget.


• Build industry relationships through the pursuit, development and delivery of successful projects.


• Develop and maintain great working relationships with field supervisors, clients, subcontractors, consultants and other team members.


• Source and secure new business opportunities by establishing contacts and sustaining long term relationships.


• Coordinate with project field personnel, architects, designers, clients, and subcontractors.


• Identify workplace safety hazards and take necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize them.


• Manage project subcontractors including coordination, procurement of materials and equipment, monitoring budget and cost, manage billings, etc.


• Act as the \"information hub\" for project to office and field personnel to ensure continuity of work.


• Lead, manage, train and/or mentor the team.

Education & Experience

• Excellent teamwork, problem solving, and communication skills.


• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred, or equivalent combination of education & experience.


• 5+ years project management experience, preferably with a Commercial General Contractor.


• Broad Knowledge of Design Build techniques, DBIA certification a plus.


• Full knowledge of computer software such as MS Office. Knowledge of Scheduling and PM Software. Auto-CAD, Bluebeam and/or Spectrum/Project Site helpful.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $120,000 - $155,000
