Job summary

Haste Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a leading South East Queensland landscaping contractor to deliver softscape construction projects across Brisbane’s western corridor, from Ipswich through to Toowoomba.

You will oversee two to four projects simultaneously, with values from $250,000 to $2 million, coordinating foremen, subcontractors and suppliers while ensuring quality, safety and contractual compliance.

Qualifications

• PM experience in landscaping or construction.
• Experience delivering commercial projects (schools, industrial, aged-care).
• Current Australian driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage two to four landscape construction projects simultaneously.
• Deliver projects valued between $250,000 and $2 million.
• Oversee program, budgets, procurement and scheduling.
• Coordinate foremen, leading hands, landscapers and subcontractors.
• Liaise with clients, builders, consultants and suppliers.
• Monitor costs, variations and overall commercial performance.
• Conduct regular site visits across Ipswich and Toowoomba.
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety and contractual requirements.
• Manage project reporting and documentation using Google Docs and Excel.
• Drive projects through to practical completion and handover.

An established commercial landscaping contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver softscape construction projects across Brisbane’s western corridor, from Ipswich through to Toowoomba.
You will manage approximately three to four projects at a time, ranging from $250,000 to $2 million, across the education, industrial and aged-care sectors.

Duties

• Manage two to four landscape construction projects simultaneously (pending project sizes & workflow)
• Deliver projects valued between $250,000 and $2 million
• Oversee project programs, budgets, procurement and scheduling
• Coordinate foremen, leading hands, landscapers and subcontractors
• Liaise with clients, builders, consultants and suppliers
• Monitor costs, variations and overall commercial performance
• Conduct regular site visits across Ipswich and Toowoomba
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety and contractual requirements
• Manage project reporting and documentation using Google Docs and Excel
• Drive projects through to practical completion and handover

About You

• Project Management experience within landscaping or construction
• Experience delivering commercial projects such as schools, industrial facilities or aged-care developments
• Softscape construction knowledge is highly desirable
• High-rise project experience is advantageous but not essential
• Strong commercial, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Confident managing multiple projects and delivery teams
• Computer literate and comfortable using Google Docs and Excel
• Fit, professionally presented and comfortable regularly attending sites
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Current Australian driver’s licence
