Job summary

Mackex Services, headquartered in Greendale NSW, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead electrical infrastructure projects from planning through commissioning and handover. The role emphasizes safe delivery, programme performance, cost control and strong stakeholder coordination.

Experience in high voltage overhead/underground construction is preferred, with familiarity of Ausgrid/Endeavour Energy networks.

Qualifications

• Experience as Project Manager in electrical utilities or civil construction.
• Knowledge of high voltage overhead and underground construction.
• Strong commercial, contractual and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with planning software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
• Current NSW Driver Licence and Construction White Card.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high voltage overhead, underground, substation and civil works.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets, forecasts and resource plans.
• Coordinate design approvals, procurement, outages, traffic control, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Manage supervisors, field crews, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor progress, costs, risks and contractual requirements and implement recovery actions.
• Prepare variations, progress claims, reports and commercial correspondence.
• Liaise with clients, Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy, designers, councils and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, quality and electricity network requirements.
• Conduct project meetings and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to the required standard.

About you

Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager within electrical utilities, infrastructure or civil construction.

Sound knowledge of high voltage overhead and underground construction.

Experience delivering projects within the Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy networks is highly regarded.

Strong commercial, contractual and stakeholder management skills.

Experience using Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or similar planning software.

Current NSW Driver Licence and Construction White Card.

Strong leadership, communication and problem solving abilities.
