CPP Civil

CPP have a dedicated in-house Civil construction department that plays a critical role in project delivery, providing scoping, estimating, management, and construction of civil works across transmission lines, renewables, and utility projects- giving us greater control over key project components.

Our capabilities include access tracks, roads, structural foundations, cable trenches, conduits, oil containment, and site infrastructure such as laydown areas and facilities. We also manage bulk earthworks, drainage, fencing, and signage, ensuring seamless integration of civil works into every project we deliver.

The Opportunity

Whilst CPP is mostly an electrical company, we do have our own internal Civil division which supports CPP's commitment to self-performance throughout the entire project lifecycle. In line with our growth, we are seeking a civil Project Manager who will be responsible for the successful delivery of significant substation and renewable energy projects across both NSW and QLD.

Reporting to the Civil Program Manager, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end project management and technical leadership during the project life cycle to successfully deliver projects that contribute to Australia’s renewable energy future. As a natural leader you will manage a dynamic project team to successfully achieve profitability of projects through reaching time, cost and quality targets.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess :

  • Minimum of 7 years civil project management experience is required, including substantial experience with bulk earthworks
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Ability to plan, monitor and control project activities with a focus on client requirements, productivity, cost, and quality
  • High-level business and commercial acumen, including contract management experience
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering will be highly regarded
  • Flexibility to travel as required between NSW & QLD
