Job summary

CSL Behring Australia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Project Delivery team at Broadmeadows, delivering fast tracked Tier 1 CAPEX projects.

You will report to the Senior Project Manager/Project Director and drive project scope through design, construction, FAT/SAT, startup and verification testing, while ensuring compliance with Stage Gate, Playbooks and CSL standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in Project Delivery, Design & Construction & Start-up in biopharma or regulated industry.
• Experience with capital projects up to $10 million.
• Experience with Clean Utilities projects desirable.
• Knowledge of cGMP, GEP and EHS&S requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Tier 1 CAPEX projects at CSL Broadmeadows across all design phases, construction, FAT/SAT, startup and verification.
• Ensure Stage Gate process compliance, PD Playbook, and CSL CoE standards.
• Manage vendors and contractors to meet scope, time, cost and quality.
• Promote safe construction environment and apply EHS by Design principles.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The Opportunity

CSL Behring Australia is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the Project Delivery team at Broadmeadows to deliver fast tracked Tier 1 CAPEX Project.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager/Project Director you will:

• Support the delivery of Tier 1 CAPEX projects at CSL Broadmeadows


• Project delivery of capital assets consistent with project goals and business case


• Deliver project scope through all design phases, construction, FAT/SAT, startup and verification testing


• Compliance with Stage Gate process, PD Playbook, Engineering Standards and CSL CoE Best Practices, Policies, and Standards


• Manage vendors and contractors in the successful fulfilment of the relevant scope of work


• Contribute to a safe construction environment throughout the project


• Take ownership of EHS through emphasis on EHS by Design and Principles of Preventn

Your skills and experience

• A Tertiary degree in Engineering, Science or a related discipline


• Demonstrated success with at least 5+ years' experience in Project Delivery, Design & Construction & Start-up, in biopharma, life sciences or other regulated industry


• Experience in bulk/fractionation pharmaceutical production projects is highly desirable


• Experience in Clean Utilities projects is highly desirable.


• Experience with project management and experience managing capital projects (up to $10 million), meeting financial targets, and driving cost savings


• Experience with diverse project teams, working collaboratively with a variety of internal and external resources to deliver successful projects safely, on time and on budget


• Good understanding of cGMP, GEP and EHS&S requirements globally
