Job summary

The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) in Melbourne is seeking a Project Officer in the Housing Development Branch. You will support the delivery of the Government's affordable housing agenda, contributing to project development, procurement, reporting and process improvements across complex programs.

THE ROLE

The Project Officer in the Housing Development Branch will place a key role in providing support services to the project team who are focused on delivering the Government's agenda of increasing access to affordable housing for Victorians. The role will contribute to a variety of complex projects at the development and delivery phases, the procurement of contracted services and products, reporting and ongoing process improvement.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

• Support the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including project development and delivery, monitoring and evaluation.
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions.
• Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa. Work eligibility will be checked as part of the recruitment process.
