Project Manager – Lead Major Civil Projects Across SEQ

About the Role Step into a pivotal leadership position with one of Queensland’s most respected civil infrastructure contractors—known for delivering high-profile subdivision, road, and utilities projects across South-East Queensland. As Project Manager, you’ll take full ownership of project delivery from planning and procurement right through to construction, handover, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, including design review, budgeting, delivery, and final handover
  • Lead engineers, site teams, and subcontractors to achieve high standards in safety, quality, and performance
  • Manage procurement, scheduling, financial control, and client reporting with accuracy and confidence
  • Maintain compliance across safety, environmental, and quality frameworks
  • Build trusted relationships with councils, developers, utility authorities, and key stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 10+ years’ experience across civil infrastructure, subdivisions, or major urban development
  • Demonstrated success managing projects valued between $10M–$50M
  • Strong commercial and contractual capability (D&C, AS2124, AS4000 etc.)
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
