Job summary

JPS Executive Search & Selection – Norman Park QLD seeks an experienced Project Manager to own and deliver a major multi-residential project from procurement through handover. The role focuses on one project at a time, enabling deep ownership and close team collaboration.

You’ll work on two major Brisbane builds with values around $27M and $40M+, operating from the Inner Southside office with a dedicated CA and site team to back delivery. Office-based with weekly site visits as required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering multi-residential or large-scale projects.
• Strong procurement and programme management skills.
• Ability to own a project end-to-end from procurement to handover.

The Opportunity

I’m working with an established Brisbane builder who is looking to bring an experienced Project Manager into the team to take ownership of one of their current multi-residential projects.

They currently have two major projects underway, including adjoining five-storey apartment buildings being delivered as one $27M project, as well as a $40M+ development comprising 12 storeys and three basement levels.

The big thing with this role is that you’ll be allocated to one project at a time. You won’t be spread across multiple jobs, giving you the opportunity to properly get across the detail, build strong relationships with your team and take full ownership of the delivery.

It’s a good opportunity for a PM who enjoys having responsibility for the full project and wants to work alongside a strong CA and site team.

The Company

This is a very established builder with a strong track record across residential, multi-residential, commercial, industrial and health construction.

They’re currently focused heavily on residential and multi-residential projects and have a strong pipeline of work coming through.

Their office is based on the Inner Southside, with PMs working primarily from the office and heading to site as required. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your time as you see fit, while having a dedicated CA and site team supporting you throughout the delivery.

What’s on Offer

You’ll be working on substantial multi-residential projects, with current builds sitting around the $30M and $40M+ mark.

The role is primarily office-based, with site visits generally once or twice a week, and you’ll have genuine ownership of your project from procurement through to handover.

They use Procore, Cheops and Microsoft Project, and you’ll be working within an established team with plenty of support around you.

What You’ll Bring

They’re ideally looking for a Project Manager with strong residential or multi-residential experience, who has managed substantial projects and is comfortable taking ownership of the full delivery process.

Experience delivering multi-storey or multi-residential projects valued at $15M+ would be highly regarded, along with strong commercial, procurement and programme management skills.
