HOBAN Recruitment, in partnership with a large Federal Government agency in Canberra, is seeking an experienced EL1 Project Manager to lead ICT and business transformation initiatives. You will drive end-to-end delivery, coordinate governance, and ensure projects meet time, scope and budget targets across senior stakeholders and vendor teams.

Ideal candidates will have proven experience in complex ICT projects, strong governance and risk management, and familiarity with government delivery

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex ICT or enterprise system implementation projects.
• Strong project planning, scheduling and delivery management capability.
• Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholder expectations.
• Strong governance, reporting and executive communication skills.
• Experience working with vendors, contracts and commercial delivery arrangements.
• Knowledge of contemporary project management frameworks and methodologies.
• Previous experience delivering projects within Federal or State Government environments.

HOBAN Recruitment is partnering with a large Federal Government agency to recruit an experienced EL1 Project Manager to support the delivery of complex ICT and business transformation initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-impact projects that contribute to the successful delivery of critical services and organisational transformation programs.

Working within a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery, coordinating stakeholders, overseeing governance activities, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and implement project plans, schedules and delivery frameworks.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Proven experience delivering complex ICT or enterprise system implementation projects.
• Strong project planning, scheduling and delivery management capability.
• Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholder expectations.
• Strong governance, reporting and executive communication skills.
• Experience working with vendors, contracts and commercial delivery arrangements.
• Knowledge of contemporary project management frameworks and methodologies.
• Previous experience delivering projects within Federal or State Government environments.

Highly Regarded

• Experience with enterprise platform implementations, data migration, testing and operational readiness.
• Knowledge of Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe Agile or Diploma of Project Management qualifications.
• Experience within claims, insurance, case management or other complex service delivery environments.
