Job summary

Verbrec is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary projects across oil & gas, infrastructure, manufacturing and renewables. Based in Adelaide CBD, you will manage client relationships, drive commercial and safety outcomes, and coordinate tender submissions with internal engineering teams.

In a growing ASX-listed company, you will develop the project team, establish governance, and ensure delivery aligns with business strategy.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in Engineering and Construction, preferably Instrument & Electrical, Control Systems with Mechanical, Process or Civil considered.
• Consultancy or commercial project experience with strong delivery and commercial results.
• Experience in Defence, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Mining, Oil & Gas or similar.
• Ability to measure project progress.
• Ability to lead and compile tender submissions with the support of the Verbrec Engineering and Construction groups.
• Proven experience in managing risks and issues.
• Drive to meet targets and motivate a team.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability of work.
• Highly desirable - Project Management accreditation (AIPM or PMI accreditation).

With projects and clients growing, we are looking for a customer and delivery focused Project Manager who are proactive in delivering on our client’s expectations. You will work closely with all internal and external stakeholders and work to maintain the dynamic team culture at Verbrec. You will be exposed to clients across working on oil, gas, utilities, manufacturing, petrochemical, renewables and other local industry projects.

As a Project Manager you will develop and manage key projects, programs of works and clients with the aim of aligning projects to our business strategy and contributing to the development of our brand. You will be also responsible for:

• Developing and managing client relationships (Key Account Management)

Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with project team and other key stakeholders.
