GreenPowerMonitor, a DNV company, is seeking a Project Engineer to drive on-site SCADA and PPC deployment for renewable energy sites. You will analyze projects, create wiring diagrams, and support commissioning while collaborating across a global team. Travel to sites up to 50% is expected.

The role requires a engineering degree and 3+ years in renewables, with hands-on SCADA/AutoCAD capability and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in renewable energy projects (solar PV, wind, or BESS).
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols like MODBUS; ability to create single line diagrams (AutoCAD).
• Excellent planning and organizational skills for handling multiple projects.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze photovoltaic and wind projects to monitor required variables.
• Generate single line diagrams of cabinets and SCADA hardware per project descriptions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet delivery schedules and assist group activities.
• Support commissioning of SCADA systems, including on-site travel up to 50%.
• Configure software to maximize data value and generate technical reports for clients.

What to expect? As a Project Engineer, you will work in a project matrix organization to implement SCADA and PPC in renewable energy sites.

What you will do

• Analyzing photovoltaic and wind projects to monitor all the variables needed
• Generating single line diagrams of the cabinets including the hardware for the SCADA solution to be deployed, given the project descriptions and Project Manager Indications
• Collaborating with colleagues to reach the schedules for deliveries, and providing assistance with general group activities
• Supporting the commissioning of SCADA systems, including travel for on-site plant visits. You can expect to spend up to 50% of your time at renewable energy sites.
• Configuration of the software to get the best value of the data
• Technical report writing, critical reviewing, and professional presentation to clients

Qualifications

To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:

• Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Engineering
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience providing engineering and technical advice to renewable energy projects within solar PV, wind and/or BESS
• Knowledge about industrial communication protocols like MODBUS or other relevant ability to create single line diagrams (AutoCAD)
• Excellent planning and organizational skills to navigate seamlessly through the demands of handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills with the ability to craft clear and accurate reports and share technical concepts in concise manner.
• Ability to work with Tools.
• Unrestricted Drivers License.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
