Job summary

AustCorp Executive is seeking a Project Engineer for a dynamic role in a large-scale food manufacturing environment in Australia. You will lead capital projects from concept through to installation and commissioning, driving improvements across production lines and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have FMCG/food manufacturing experience, CAPEX project delivery skills, and strong supplier and stakeholder management to ensure projects meet safety, quality and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, Manufacturing or Process Engineering qualifications.
• Proven experience in a Project Engineer or similar project delivery role.
• Experience within FMCG, food or beverage manufacturing is essential.
• Experience managing CAPEX projects within an operational manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production machinery and manufacturing systems.
• Experience managing contractors, budgets and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital projects from feasibility and concept through to design, procurement, installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and external engineering consultants.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines and technical specifications.
• Deliver plant upgrades, equipment installations and production line improvements.
• Work with maintenance, production and operations teams to minimise disruption.
