Monadelphous is seeking experienced Project Engineers for Mackay Operations Team to support upcoming shutdowns across coal mines in the Bowen Basin. Roles include office-based and on-site work with various rosters, permanent and casual positions available.

You will contribute to maintenance and shutdown services across multiple sites, with a strong safety culture and potential redeployment within the company.

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised engineering degree required.
• Demonstrated field experience in the mining industry.
• Experience with project controls, scheduling and cost tracking preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform project control functions – scheduling and cost control.
• Provide engineering services and project management support to operations.
• Develop work packages for field teams with QA documentation (ITPs, check sheets).
• Participate in client/contractor meetings and resolve project issues.

Monadelphous is currently seeking experienced Project Engineers to join our Mackay Operations Team for upcoming shutdown work across various Coal Mines in the Bowen Basin. This is a great opportunity to be part of a high-performing team delivering critical maintenance and shutdown services across multiple sites.

There are various rosters across our different works, permanent and casual positions available.

This role would be Mackay office based, as well as based on site during execution. Must be flexible to be based on site when required.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Perform project control functions – scheduling, cost control including managing performance against budget and developing variations where required.
• Providing engineering services and project management support to operations team
• Develop work packages for field teams to execute including all necessary QA documentation – development of ITPs and associated check sheets.
• Participate in client/contractor meetings and resolve any project management issues.

What you will bring:

• Demonstrated field experience within the mining industry
• Exposure to dragline operations and shutdowns (highly desirable)
• An Australian-recognised Engineering degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications, including 3D models, general arrangements (GAs), isometrics, and P&IDs
• Strong understanding of project management principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• A valid Australian Driver’s Licence
• Proof of right to work in Australia
