Job summary

Bapcor Limited is seeking an enthusiastic Engineer to join the Merchandise team and help develop innovative 4x4 protection products. This entry- to early-career role offers exposure across the full product development lifecycle, working with experienced colleagues, suppliers and manufacturers to move concepts to market.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates or early-career engineers who enjoy hands-on problem solving and want to build a career in product development within a leading ASX-listed

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related discipline.
• Some engineering, product development or manufacturing experience through employment, internships, university projects or placements.
• Experience using SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and development of new 4x4 protection products.
• Create and maintain CAD models, drawings and technical documentation.
• Support product testing, validation and compliance activities.
• Work with suppliers and manufacturers throughout the product development process.
• Assist with prototype evaluation, product fitment and design improvements.
• Prepare fitting instructions and supporting documentation.
• Support project delivery and help monitor development timelines.
• Investigate product, quality and manufacturing issues as they arise.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

We're looking for a passionate and hands-on Engineer to join our Merchandise team and support the development of innovative 4x4 protection products.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to gain exposure across the entire product development lifecycle. You'll work alongside experienced team members, suppliers and manufacturers to help bring high-quality products from concept to market.

Key Responsibilities
