Job summary

ACCIONA is delivering major infrastructure works for Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) at Osborne, South Australia. The Project Engineer will plan, coordinate and deliver construction works on site, collaborating with supervisors, subcontractors and the client to convert drawings into efficient methods.

You will manage quality records, track progress, costs and risks, and support procurement and commercial teams on scopes and variations, using digital models to prevent clashes before work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field.
• Proven experience delivering construction works on site.
• Knowledge of construction methods, temporary works and logistics.
• Ability to mentor graduates and site engineers.
• Australian citizen eligible for Baseline Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver construction works to program, quality and safety.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to develop efficient construction methods.
• Run risk assessments and toolbox talks to drive Zero Harm on site.
• Monitor progress, costs and risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and review quality documentation and close-out records.
• Support procurement and commercial teams with scopes, evaluations and variations.
• Use digital models to plan logistics and resolve clashes early.

Project Information

ACCIONA is delivering major infrastructure works for Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) at Osborne, South Australia, including the Link Road Project, a 400m bridge over rail with significant utilities works. It forms part of a multi-billion dollar Defence program that supports Australia's naval shipbuilding capability, delivered under strict quality, safety and compliance standards.

About the Opportunity

As Project Engineer, you will plan, coordinate and deliver construction works on the ANI project, reporting to the Project Manager. You will work with supervisors, subcontractors, designers and the client to turn drawings into efficient construction methods. You will prepare quality records, track progress, costs and risks, and support procurement and commercial teams on scopes and variations. You will use digital models to plan logistics and resolve clashes before work starts. You will own your work packages and work to strict Defence quality, safety and compliance standards.
