Project Director – Renewable Energy

Gentari is accelerating the transition to sustainable energy. We’re seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead the execution of large‑scale renewable energy projects (solar, battery, wind) across Australia.

What you’ll do:

• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of utility‑scale renewable projects.
• Lead project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure safe, on‑time, and on‑budget completion.
• Establish and strengthen team cohesion.
• Implement systems, best practices, and operating cadences.
• Drive procurement, contract negotiations, and stakeholder engagement.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience managing large‑scale utility project delivery in Australia from contract negotiation through to completion stages within energy, construction or infrastructure.
• Strong leadership, risk management, and communication skills.
• Experienced in turning around difficult or high‑pressure scenarios.
• Expertise in project management tools.
• Multitasker able to manage multiple programs of work simultaneously.
• Ability to travel and be on site.
