We are a community housing organisation committed to delivering safe, sustainable and quality homes. Guided by our strategic pillar Lead Quality Homes of Choice, we design and deliver personalised homes that promote autonomy, safety and integrated technology, giving tenants the foundation for a good, ordinary life.

As part of our Construction and Renewal team, you’ll help coordinate projects that directly improve tenant experience and strengthen our community housing portfolio. You’ll support the delivery of new build projects, refurbishments and renewals while ensuring our homes reflect quality, safety and long-term value.

About the Role

The Project Coordinator, Construction and Renewal provides essential coordination and support across the lifecycle of construction and renewal projects. Working closely with senior staff and broader team, you will help keep projects on track through effective documentation, communication, scheduling, and monitoring.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detail, problem-solving, teamwork, and seeing projects come to life.

Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
  • Support the coordination of planning, design, approval and procurement activities
  • Prepare project documentation including briefs, schedules, reports and meeting papers
  • Assist in gathering information for feasibility assessments and concept development
  • Coordinate consultant and contractor engagement processes, including tender documentation and evaluation support
  • Track project progress, actions and deliverables to ensure timelines are met
  • Support communication with internal teams, tenants and external stakeholders
Construction and Delivery Support
  • Assist with site meeting coordination, records and follow-up actions
  • Help monitor contractor performance, variations and milestones
  • Maintain project registers, risk logs and compliance documentation
  • Support quality assurance processes and ensure documentation is filed and up to date
Financial and Reporting Support
  • Assist with budget tracking, cashflow updates and invoice processing
  • Collate financial and project data for reporting and decision-making
  • Contribute analysis and insights to support asset planning and improvement work
Portfolio and Strategic Support
  • Assist in gathering data for asset performance assessments
  • Support initiatives that contribute to delivering quality homes of choice
  • Help ensure new and renewed homes reflect our commitment to safety, autonomy and integrated technology
About You
  • Experienced in construction, building, property or asset coordination (knowledge of SDA Design Standards desirable)
  • Organised, detail-focused and confident working with documentation and systems
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Comfortable building relationships with contractors, consultants and internal teams
  • Curious, proactive and keen to learn more about the community housing and construction sectors
  • Passionate about homes that support independence, wellbeing and quality of life
