Job summary

Sonic Clinical Trials in Macquarie Park NSW is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Clinical Operations team. You will support Associates and Project Managers with study setup, maintenance, and serve as the primary contact for assigned studies.

Ideal candidates have a Biomedical Science background, at least 2 years in health or clinical trials customer support, and strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in Biomedical Science or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a health, pathology, pharmaceutical or clinical trials customer support role.
• Understanding of clinical trials and central laboratory environments.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Associate Project Managers, Project Managers and Senior Project Managers with study setup and maintenance.
• Simple study set up and ongoing maintenance.
• Act as primary point of contact at Sonic Clinical Trials for assigned studies.
• Liaises with internal and external stakeholders for ongoing support throughout study setup and maintenance.

The position will appeal to a system savvy professional with a science background and a strong customer focus. The role is based within our dynamic team environment at our Macquarie Park Head Office, flexible work arrangements can be considered post completion of training.

The Opportunity

Responsibilities include:

• Support Associate Project Managers, Project Managers and Senior Project Managers with study set up and maintenance


• Simple study set up and on-going maintenance


• Act as primary point of contact at Sonic Clinical Trials for assigned studies


• Liaises with internal and external stakeholders for ongoing support throughout study setup and maintenance.

About You

• Tertiary Education in Biomedical Science or Science or related field preferred (or a minimum of 8 years' experience in a central laboratory setting)


• Must have a minimum 2 years experience in a customer support role within the health, pathology, pharmaceutical or clinical trials industry


• Understanding of the clinical trials industry and central laboratory


• Excellent oral and written communication skills


• Aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting
  
• Time management and organisational skills


• Strong Microsoft applications skills


• Commitment to high quality work and customer service


• Self-motivated, with a high attention to detail, ability to be flexible, and a willingness to display initiative


• Interest in laboratory science and diagnostic pathology
