Qualifications

Project Coordinator

Jaytex Construction is a progressive and dynamic building company with over 20 years of outstanding success in delivering cutting edge construction projects across South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, we are looking to grow our high performing South Australian based team.

We’re seeking a Project Coordinator with proven experience working in commercial construction.

You will be helping lead the delivery of high-profile commercial construction project.

You’ll be part of a well-resourced site team, delivering mixed use residential and commercial office developments.

What we are looking for

Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Building, Quantity Surveying or similar

Minimum two years experience on commercial construction projects above $10 million in a similar role (Contract Administrator / Project Coordinator / Project Engineer)

Knowledge of tender processes and the procurement and letting of trade packages.

Financial understanding and knowledge of construction costs.

This Project Coordinator will co-lead with the Senior Project Coordinator ensuring that activities comply with the Contract Specification and Quality requirements.

Ensures that Inspection and Test Plans are undertaken and that all verification check sheets and Inspection Reports are complied with;

Confident in coordinating large-scale commercial projects from concept to completion

Self driven, detail orientated and passionate about building relationships across the industry

A working knowledge of construction specific Acts, Codes and Regulations, specifically the Building Code of Australia, Security of Payments Act and the Work Health & Safety Act

Previous experience with Estimate One, Hammertech and Procore highly desirable
