Job description

Join an established precast concrete manufacturer with a strong pipeline of commercial and residential projects across Southeast Queensland. We're looking for an Install Coordinator who understands the unique demands of precast installation—panels, cranage, rigging teams, site sequencing, and tight builder programs.

This role is perfect for someone who's worked hands-on in the precast environment (installation, supervising, site coordination, or production) and is ready to step into a client-facing, project-driven role.

Why This Role Is Different (and Built for Precast Professionals)
  • Established since 1997 with a strong reputation for quality
  • Work with a skilled team—production, transport, riggers, crane crews, and installers
  • A mix of office, factory, and on-site work (construction sites across SEQ)
  • Real influence over install sequencing and quality outcomes
  • No two projects are the same—tilt panels, structural precast, architectural finishes, and more
What You'll Be Doing (Precast-Focused Responsibilities)
Site & Install Coordination

Attend site measure-ups, pre-start meetings, and builder coordination meetings

Review lift plans, panel drawings, and erection sequences before install

Monitor on-site works including cranage, rigging, panel placement, propping, and bracing

Ensure installers and rigging crews follow approved SWMS and lift methodology

Troubleshoot issues on-site (panel fit, tolerances, bracing adjustments, access constraints)

Subcontractor & Internal Team Interface

Coordinate installers, riggers, and crane crews to meet program timelines

Ensure crews have everything required: lifting clutches, braces, consumables, grout, caulking, epoxy, etc.

Work with production to ensure panels are manufactured in the right sequence and available for transport

Liaise with transport/logistics for panel delivery timing, load order, and site access

Communicate changes in site conditions or builder schedule back to production and transport

Quality, Compliance & Documentation

Conduct quality checks pre-delivery and on-site (dimensions, ferrules, cast-in plates, architectural finishes)

Ensure all lift certificates, SWMS, and install documentation are completed and signed

Oversee patching, rectification, caulking, grouting, and final finishes

Obtain client signoffs for completed stages

Provide feedback to production and design for continuous improvement

Project Administration

Keep registers updated (install progress, RFI's, variations, delivery logs, rectification works)

Prepare and submit variations related to install changes

Review and approve subcontractor invoices and install documentation

Maintain install programs and communicate updates to clients

What You Bring
  • Experience in precast installation, construction site supervision, or concrete/structural coordination
  • Strong understanding of precast panels, lifting systems, tolerances, rigging, and bracing
  • Ability to interpret precast shop drawings, erection sequences, and structural details
  • Excellent communication with builders, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • A proactive, calm, problem-solving approach on busy construction sites
  • Computer literacy (MS Office + basic project or scheduling tools)
  • Valid White Card; rigging/dogging highly valued (not essential)

Full-time, based from Yatala with regular SEQ site travel

Monday–Friday, Saturdays when required. (site-based schedule depending on install start times)

Work with a company that has been a trusted precast partner since 1997
