About you
  • Extensive experience in senior finance/business operations roles within projects, engineering or defence.
  • Strong skills in cost control, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business strategy.

  • Advanced business acumen with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Desirable
  • Knowledge of Australian and US defence cost principles, AS4817 Earned Value Management, and process improvement.

Your responsibilities will include

Lockheed Martin Australia is seeking a Program Finance Manager to lead financial strategy, program performance and long‑range planning across the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) portfolio. This high‑visibility role partners with senior leaders in Australia and the US to drive business growth, ensure financial commitments are met, and support successful program execution.

What You'll Do
  • Provide financial guidance and insights to MFC leadership, driving portfolio growth and program performance.
  • Lead development and reporting of short‑ and long‑term financial commitments (Op Plan, Outlook, LRP).
  • Ensure programs have robust cost/schedule baselines, EVMS compliance, and accurate financial reporting.
  • Support proposals, pricing, estimating, business operations, and strategic roadmaps for new opportunities.
  • Manage risks and identify opportunities to meet financial objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, clients, program teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Influence decisions, manage competing priorities, and drive alignment across multiple groups.
  • Work collaboratively, proactively seek information, and provide clear, strategic financial insights.
