Job summary

Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools invites applications for the Program Director - Teaching and Learning VCE, VM and VPC (Senior Stream) based at Fitzroy North College. You will lead teaching, learning and student engagement and help establish the inaugural Year 11 VCE VM and VPC programs from 2027, guiding senior pathways and transitions.

The appointment is ongoing with a fixed-term POL 4 and the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022; salary range $79,589 to $118,063 plus a POL

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Education and VIT Registration required
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Experience in curriculum development and senior pathways (VCE VM VPC)
• Ability to travel to multiple school sites and engage with stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver effective onsite learning, teaching and wellbeing programs for secondary students.
• Establish the first Year 11 program in 2027 and shape its progression to Year 12 (VCE VM and VPC).
• Lead and support teachers and education support staff in integrated learning programs.
• Oversee VET, workplace learning and pathway planning to support student outcomes.
• Establish clear assessment, progress tracking and teaching practices.
