Job summary

Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure in Melbourne seeks an experienced Program Compliance Lead to drive governance, contractual reporting, and compliance across a major program. You will work with clients, delivery partners, and internal teams to ensure obligations are met and improvements are delivered.

Based at our Tullamarine office, you will coordinate audits, KPI reporting, and action tracking, while building strong relationships with stakeholders to support successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in compliance, governance, contract administration, or similar roles.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Experience maintaining compliance registers, documentation, and reporting frameworks.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and delivery of compliance, governance, and contractual reporting activities across the program.
• Monitor, maintain, and report on KPIs, compliance registers, and program performance metrics.
• Support audits, reviews, inspections, and continuous improvement to ensure obligations are met.
• Coordinate toolbox talks, safety workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Manage document control, review and distribution of procedures and work instructions.
• Track corrective actions and stakeholder items to drive improvements.
• Coordinate Local Jobs First and Social Procurement reporting.
• Build strong relationships with clients, delivery partners, subcontractors, and internal teams.

About the opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Program Compliance Lead to play a pivotal role in supporting the governance, compliance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement activities across a major program. This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with operational leaders, clients, delivery partners, and community stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are met while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Based at our Tullamarine office, you will also collaborate with the wider Abergeldie pipeline teams.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Leading the coordination and delivery of compliance, governance, and contractual reporting activities across the program.
• Monitoring, maintaining, and reporting on key performance indicators, compliance registers, and program performance metrics.
• Supporting audits, reviews, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance obligations are achieved.
• Coordinating toolbox meetings, safety workshops, community engagement activities, and program events.
• Managing document control processes, including the review, maintenance, and distribution of procedures and work instructions.
• Tracking and facilitating corrective actions, improvement opportunities, and stakeholder action items.
• Coordinating Local Jobs First and Social Procurement reporting.
• Building strong relationships with clients, delivery partners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to drive successful program outcomes.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Demonstrated experience in compliance, governance, contract administration, project coordination, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into meaningful outcomes.
• Experience maintaining compliance registers, documentation, and reporting frameworks.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills. (Essential)
• Experience within construction, utilities, infrastructure, maintenance, or service delivery environments will be highly regarded.
