Job summary

Maximum Design Construction Pty Ltd in Birchgrove, NSW, is seeking a qualified and experienced Carpenter for a full-time role. You will join a professional team delivering residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities include reading architectural drawings, measuring and cutting timber, constructing frames, doors, and fixtures, and coordinating with builders and subcontractors to finish on time and to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Carpentry or higher qualification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of full-time carpentry experience.
• White Card is required.
• Able to work full-time in person.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret architectural drawings, building plans, specifications and measurements.
• Measure, mark, cut, shape and assemble timber and other building materials.
• Construct and install timber frames, walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, doors, windows and fixtures.
• Install and repair doors, window frames, skirting boards, architraves and mouldings.
• Carry out repairs, renovations, and refurbishment work.
• Maintain safe work environment and coordinate with supervisors and subcontractors.
