Job summary

Programmed / Persolkelly is seeking a process worker for a renown dairy company based near Jindivick, VIC. You will contribute to cheese production with a hands-on, physical approach across production stages in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts available: day (6AM-2PM / 8AM-4PM) and afternoon (12PM-10PM / 4PM-12AM). The role offers training, a pathway to permanency, and competitive pay. Suitable candidates must enjoy manual handling and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Repetitive manual handling of products, lifting up to 15kg.
• Experience in food production is preferable but not required.
• Willingness to work across day and afternoon shifts.
• Able to work in a dairy production environment with attention to hygiene.
• Team player with good reliability.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load tubs of cheese onto production machines.
• Rack unmoulded cheese onto trays and stack them.
• Load/unload trays from stack onto conveyor belts.
• Transfer racks of cheese between departments via trolley.
• Maintain a clean and sanitised work station.

Our client a renown dairy company, is on the look out for a process worker to join their team based in Jindivick and assist in the production of cheese. This role will see you taking a hands on and physical approach in the different production stages of cheese. If this sounds like a challenge you're up for,

They are currently offering day (6AM - 2PM, 8AM - 4PM) and afternoon (12PM - 10PM, 4PM - 12AM) shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Repetitive manual handling of products, lifting up to 15kg
• Unloading/loading tubs of cheese onto machines
• Racking unmoulded cheese onto trays and stacking them
• Loading/unloading trays of cheese from the stack onto a conveyor belt
• Transferring racks of cheese via trolley to different departments
• Flipping racks of cheese
• Cleaning and sanitization of the work station and maintaining a clean work space

Our ideal Candidate:

• Comfortable with repetitive manual handling
• Background in food production preferable but not necessary
• Flexible to work between day and afternoon shifts
