Job summary

Sulles Pty Ltd in Toowoomba, operating as Pixie, is hiring casual Production Team Members for ice cream processing and packing lines, including palletising and quality checks.

Shifts start early (from 5:00am, Mon–Fri) with rostering and overtime as needed; training, PPE and uniforms provided; weekly payroll and award rates.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced production environments (preferred).
• Ability to follow safety procedures and quality checks.
• Good English communication and literacy.

Responsibilities

• Working on ice cream processing/packing lines.
• Palletising finished products manually by hand.
• Performing visual quality control/quality checking.
• Pitching in with the team for end-of-shift cleanup.

Job description

Sulles Pty Ltd is offering a limited number of casual employment positions for suitable job candidates to join our Team. The Production Team Member position requires your full attention to the little details as quality is everything at Pixie, as we make the best ice cream in the world (ok, maybe just Australia).

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Working on various Ice Cream processing/packing lines.
• Palletising finished products manually by hand.
• Visual quality control/quality checking.
• Pitching-in with the Team for the end-of-shift clean up.

REQUIREMENTS

• Availability to commence employment at short notice.
• Flexible availability to attend day shifts onwards from 5:00am from Monday to Friday.
• Flexible availability to attend rostered and on-call shifts at short notice.
• Flexible availability to work on-the-spot overtime, if required.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Sound English communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
• Physically capable to perform the inherent requirements of the position, including the ability to safely lift up to 15kg, perform repetitive task, and stand for periods of time.
• Ability to consistently comply with safe work policies and procedures, and our Safety-First culture.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment will be looked upon favourably.
• References from your current/recent Managers or Supervisors.
