Overview

As a Production Team Leader, you will play a vital role in enhancing the opportunities of our employees while ensuring commercial outcomes are achieved. With your natural ability to lead with empathy, you will oversee and guide employees that we support, to meet their employment goals, ensuring their work aligns with their skills and aspirations, while delivering exceptional production outcomes.

Located at the Endeavour Business Solutions Site in Warwick QLD, we are seeking a truck driver with a forklift ticket to pick up cardboard and plastic items from various local businesses and bale them. In this role, you will be working towards meeting quotas for suppliers we partner with and be a leader in supporting opportunities for people with disability to work, develop skills, earn an income and be involved in their community. Hours of work are Full time Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Motivate and mentor a diverse workforce, fostering a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with WHS policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and guide employees we support to meet NDIS goals and commercial outcomes.
  • Promote positive behaviour support and a collaborative team culture.
  • Conduct skills training, assessments, and performance reviews in collaboration with Employment Coaches.
  • Ensure production meets customer expectations regarding quality, delivery timeframes and business requirements.
  • Monitor operations to ensure they meet production standards, adjusting process as needed.
What You Can Bring
  • Hold a Truck Licence or Forklift Licence - Preferable
  • Previous experience in a production environment with a proven ability to coordinate projects and delegate activities to a diverse team.
  • Experience in disability support will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear and concise information is presented to the team.
  • A genuine commitment to the purpose and values of the organisation with a natural empathetic nature.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Driver’s License.
