Outstanding Opportunity for a Skilled Production Supervisor with a Heavy Steel Fabrication Background.

My client is an Award Winning Machinery Equipment Manufacturer and employer of choice based in Wetherill Park.

The business prides itself on doing most things inhouse and has multiple complex production centres.

Right now, they have an opportunity for a skilled steel fabrication production supervisor to join the team in a day shift role (7.30am-3.30pm M-F)

Key Responsibilities include:

Managing a team of 30-40 via team leaders in a modern steel fabrication workshop.

Achieving programmed production targets and working closely with other production supervisors to ensure customer orders are manufactured to plan.

Driving corporate safety and quality initiatives with the team. Seeking feedback and implementing continuous improvement programs.

Above all creating a harmonious and productive work environment.

We are looking for a skilled steel fabrication production supervisor with at least 5 years experience managing similar sized teams. Relevant trade qualifications, welding tickets and leadership training would be highly desirable. Heavy or structural steel experience preferred.

The fabrication production unit is the most critical part of the manufacturing process and as such the successful candidate's performance in the role will impact on all areas of production.
