Job summary

CSR Springboard in Minto is seeking a hands-on Production Shift Supervisor for the PM shift to lead a fast-paced manufacturing team. You will coordinate people, processes and equipment to meet production targets while keeping safety as the top priority.

The role focuses on improving performance, problem-solving and a culture of inclusion. You'll oversee daily operations, plan staffing and workflows, monitor output and quality, and drive continuous improvement with the team.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in production or manufacturing.
  • Experience within plastic moulding/PVC industry advantageous.
  • Trade qualification is advantageous.
  • Strong planning and communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to lead and influence teams.

Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're looking for a motivated Production Shift Supervisor to join our Operations team in Minto!

About the Role

As a Production Shift Supervisor you'll play a critical role in keeping our factory running safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. You'll lead from the front—coordinating people, processes, and equipment to meet production targets while ensuring safety is always the number one priority.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead daily operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production
  • Coordinate staffing, schedules, and workflows to meet production demands
  • Monitor and report on production output, quality, and waste reduction
  • Facilitate production meetings and toolbox talks
  • Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all WHS and environmental standards
  • Provide first-line troubleshooting and support during production challenges
  • Collaborate with maintenance, logistics, planning, and customer service teams
  • Coach and develop team members through training and one-on-ones
  • Lead by example to build a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
  • Participate in emergency response planning and execution

About You

You're a proactive, hands-on people leader who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and bringing out the best in others. You take pride in maintaining high safety standards and believe in collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • 2+ years' experience in a production or technical manufacturing role (experience within plastic moulding/PVC industry is advantageous)
  • Trade qualification is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of equipment, processes, and operations
  • Experience with quality, process improvement, and safety systems
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to lead and influence teams
  • Adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced production environment
  • A results-driven approach with a passion for continuous improvement
