Qualifications

Job description

The Comfort Group is Australia’s largest bedding & speciality foams manufacturer making premium foam and bedding products for a number of well-known brands including Sleepyhead, SleepMaker, Beautyrest, Dunlop Foam and Tattersfield.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Foams Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our WA Foams facility. This role has full accountability for supervising warehouse, production, conversion, dispatch and inventory activities while leading a strong safety culture and supporting high-quality operational outcomes.

Your responsibilities may include based on your experience:

  • Supervise daily production, conversion, warehouse and dispatch operations
  • Lead and support the Team Leader and operational staff
  • Manage labour allocation, rosters, overtime and leave planning
  • Coordinate machine maintenance and manage breakdown responses
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stocktakes
  • Manage raw material availability and approve operational purchasing
  • Lead WHS compliance, toolbox talks, incident investigations and audits
  • Maintain SOPs, housekeeping and quality standards
  • Complete operational reporting including production, labour, safety and downtime
  • Act as the senior on-site contact for WA Foams and liaise with interstate teams

About you

You will be a confident, hands-on supervisor with a strong safety mindset and experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments. As well as:

  • Proven experience supervising warehouse, production or manufacturing operations
  • Strong people leadership and workforce management capability
  • Solid knowledge of WHS requirements and safety leadership
  • Experience coordinating machine maintenance and breakdowns
  • Inventory, raw material and stock control experience
  • Competency using ERP or WMS systems
  • Valid forklift licence and hands‑on warehouse experience
