Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Production Planner/Scheduler for a Melbourne-area manufacturing client in Dingley Village, Victoria. You will own production schedules across fabrication, assembly, powder coating, finishing and dispatch to meet customer deadlines.

You will monitor progress, identify delays, coordinate with Production, Engineering and Procurement, and drive improvements in lead times and workflow. This is a permanent, full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, scheduling or manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of workflows, capacity and material requirements.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Excel; Dynamics AX experience is valued.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain production schedules across fabrication, assembly, finishing and dispatch.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and coordinate recovery plans to keep on track.
• Plan capacity by assessing labour, machinery and material availability.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering and Procurement to ensure readiness and smooth handoffs.
