Rio Tinto in Pannawonica is seeking highly skilled Production Operators to join our mining operations. You will safely operate large-scale mining equipment to extract iron ore, preparing it for processing and shipment to global customers.

These FIFO roles offer a 5 days on, 3 nights on, 6 off roster, a permanent position, and a comprehensive benefits package plus career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full manual C Class license required.
• Experience operating large-scale mining equipment in open cut production.
• Commitment to safety of self and team.
• ERT experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Permanent Australian residency (no visa sponsorship).

• Experienced Production Digger, Dozers & Loader Operators needed: Leverage your proven expertise to drive excellence in our high-performance mine operations.

About the role

We are seeking highly skilled Production Operators to join our dynamic Mining Operations teams across the Pilbara. In this role, you will safely operate large-scale mining equipment to extract iron ore, preparing it for processing and shipment to our global customers.

These positions are FIFO with 5 days on, 3 nights on, 6 off roster. Ideal candidates will have experience with the following equipment:

• Loaders/Diggers: EX 3600, EX5600, LT 1850/2350, CAT 994, WA1200
• Dozers: D10, D11

You’ll be part of a friendly and inclusive team, supported by your Supervisor to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team.This position will also allow you to upskill other team members as subject matter expert as you grow within your career.

What you’ll bring

• A Full manual C Class license

• Experience working in an Open Cut Production environment operating large scale equipment
• ERT experience would be an advantage in this role though not essential
